are you going to box it in so you end up with the hole in the wall tank look(if the stairs are the same width as the tank) ?

Yeh it should have some water in by xmas trev although fish and corals are a long way off yet
The missus said will it be looking nice by xmas ... meaning full of corals and fish .. ''bless her ignorance'' ... No johnny it wont be an enclosed unit as the tank sticks out to far, that and it would make the front room smaller than it already does, plus the heat build up might be too much without the installation of some excluder fans.

New pic from tonight .. i tried bnq for custom made doors they dont make them , then tried the internet for a quote £179 for 3 doors without hingers fook that i thought.
Popped into great mills got a 8x2 limed oak effect peice of wood for £22 got a mate to cut everything to size and hey presto cheap doors ... Went on tonys advice and got some velcro from the pound shop near tescos 'pool' iirc it was 1.29p a roll ended up buying 3 rolls and only used one .. didnt realize the stuff was this strong, so if anybody needs some velcro its 2 quid a roll haha.

will update some pics as when i remember.

Yeh i hope it fits its going to be close i know that lol
No i gave up on the idea of painting it, i got a roll of blue backing from a shop in pool instead
Hopefully with this high feed pappone in a year or two it wont be on show anyhow, the brackets were bought from an online shop called abracadabra they cost around £35 iirc, i tried that shop in camborne
for them but i got the usual blank look when i asked for them also online is cheaper
Ill bring the velcro into jasons when i next pop in ... before i forget i need a couple of volunteers
to help lift the tank through the door possibly tuesday night maybe one person i dont know if lindsay can help but me and jason will be there just need a couple of hands if needs be.
