Here's an Acropora Frag at its early stage - The colony was placed in high flow and was grown under
an 250w lumenarc 10k Reeflux Bulb flow was 40 x per hour ..
Temp 79-80
kh 10
Mg 1500
Nitrate 4ppm
Po4 0ppm
The system was heavily fed and i believe this was part of its success , Its been noted that Formosa's
grow very well in highly fed tanks and Italians also claim that Pappone feed also gets good results.

10/11 months down the line and as you can see it grew into a large colony which was finally broken down.

I to was amazed by the growth in such little time it took to grow as this once small frag was one of Lindsay's .
When Tim brought the acro in it only just fit into a bucket and made a lot of good 6" plus frags that we have a few left in the shop.
The weight of the acro was unexpected as Tim will agree ,me for one was happy once the pictures were taken .
I agree with Tim on the high feed of the Formosa as i feed the pappone without HGH but amino acids instead to my system with top grown and as long as you keep the nutrients low shows good colour and an all round natural looking tank .

Well done Tim the acro is a credit to you m8
