hi, i have got a new GBTA which was straight from TMC , when it arrived it had a strange green colour and at first i thought it was dyed but im no expert. anyway its in the tank and looking good and even fed on the first day after being put in. when the first blue tube goes on it starts to retract which is nothing unusual as its probably not had much light for a week or two but the strange thing is the water then goes very slightly cloudy, after about an hour of first light, and this has happend on both morning ive had it. could it be the water that its released as it shrinks?

cheers

HI Ben, sounds like an algae bloom to me when the lights go on, the
Anemone looks great. Is it staying attached and keeping its color or has it lost some of it's color?
What lighting wattage do you have over the tank?

It's doing really well.

I'm sure when Ben reads this, he will enlighten you with that.

I think Ben wants a nem that doesn't move around too much.

yes the nem is doing really well. it regained its colour and is about 12" . i have just upgraded my tank and want to keep more sps so i decided a bta was not a good idea anymore. i have been thinking of a LTA instead as they stay on the sand. jasons looking after it for me and i think has a home lined up.

cheers
ben
