Bit pointless saying i win you dont keep SPS long term .. which accounts for nothing imo
Trouble is i dont see any back up to this supposed 10k lark pls post pictures up of long term successs versus other k rating ..... :)

This time next year everybody wil have dropped 10k .. Even Jason is running up and down the shop saying .... look look Tim is right corals under 12k look way better .. here ends this lesson

You gotta stay up later than this mate ... maybe in the year 2010 we shall see some pics uploaded by you .. not holding my breathe just yet tho .. i think my acros will be outta the water before that.. credit where's credit dues 12k and all ..A fiver you say i'll hold you to that ... jas owes me a fiver already from a bet we had about me and Ultimtate Reef .. pay up jas in April .. come again.

All these five pound bets makes it sweeter taking money from Redruth wannabee's ...
you know the home of reefkeeping is Camborne ..

I respect you and your brothers ideals/shanadigans.. but in truth that falls short of realistic shortcomings and thats not a bad thing .. i hope you live and learn from us it will push this hobby forward imo.

No need to fly the white flag aswell ..

STN being something your used to is it Tim ,Been told about STN from the likes of you but have yet come across it :)
I like 10000k as its nice and bright and i find it will allow the coral to colour up in a more natural way .
I find that 12000k is ok if your going to sack sps and dedicate to zoas :) :sign_lol: :boxing2:

What would you know about growth Ben, corals need to stay in the same tank for more than a few weeks to settle down!
Your stock would be good at musical chairs at a party i recon! :)

When it comes down to it all its really personal athsetics. Maybe your athsetics are influenced because you come from Camborne leaning you to a 12K spectrum or maybe your athsetics are influenced because you come from Redruth leaning you to 10K spectrum. But all in all its down to the individual choice and their athsetics. Bearing all this in mind i am a MAN running a 10K for a hard core SPS tank in Penzance :thanks:
Life is to short for frags
