Hard one that as my Kh was up and down a good way with the test i was running ,But next system i will try keep at 12

I can't say I aim to keep it at anything in particular other than above 8. It seems to settle itself out in the mid 10's unless my kalk stirrer gets low when it falls down to low 9's.

I'm not sure what affect the heavy feeding has, I don't feed as heavily as Jason, I'm not sure anyone does, but I use the same food. The only time I happened to measure alk the morning after it was lower than expected, but also the kalk is getting lower so not conclusive.

I aim to keep mine at 12 so all my bi carbonates stay in suspension longer. I buffer it every three days with tripple buffer. The lowest it has been is 10.2
