Thought I ought to point out that the RO-MAN website has been down since the beginning of the month with no response to posts on other forums. Seems as though the recession might have claimed another victim...

No definitive news as yet. But it's an awfully long time for predominantly web-based business to be offline and incommunicardo, and you'd have thought they'd have tried to notify trade customers at least if they were experiencing technical problems, and address the rumours flying around on the forums.

As you say though, it would be a shock. Always used to impress with their quality of service, though there have been issues reported recently. Not a firm I would have been expecting to get into trouble, though with hindsight there have been some supply problems over recent months reported in threads elsewhere that might have been cashflow related.

Yeah ive always been more than happy with his service and prices,re-con there will be a few companies racing to grab the market while hes absent.

he is very absent from everywhere and i was talking to the chap at Vyair yesterday re an ro unit as theres no answer on romans phones and he reckons his business has gone mental over the past weeks due to this, he has even had major shops etc enquiring this week,

Not connected to VYAIR at all, but wouldnt mind a backhander if there's one going :whistling:
