In my old tank i pretty much left everything to its own thing and left the acroporas fight for themselves and everything was fine.
I took two back to the shop that had welded themselves together .. Now after a couple of weeks one took a turn for the worse and lindsay had to cut them apart because of dieback.
Now back in my tank and thought id show them now, First is the Blue Acropora thats doing fine

Next picture is of the tip that was welded with the other Acro, Now healed up and has grown a new tip .. doing great.

Last Pic is of the one that came apart from the above, Its slowly dying back from the place where it was connected to the other Acro .. And will monitor it for a few days before taking the cutter out to possibly save it.
Both Acro were grown from frags from frag night and were placed very close to one and other on the same rock, In the hope they would merge together which they did, But wernt successful in the end.
Although they obviously arent calcium reactor material just yet.
