Has anyone here got any high colour nem's they could post pic's of? Include species, how long you have had it and any other info you may have.
I will start. This is beleaved to be a deep water bubble.I have had it over one year. It's under 14k halides and actinics.I feed it mysis once or twice a week and sometimes squid. It hasn't grown much in the time i have had it.The first pic is when i first got it,the second and third pic's are tonight.I beleave it was a bit bleached when i first got it as you can see the colour change. It has a bright floresent purple base but i just cant get a good pic to show the colour.Anyway here it is !

Hi
Dave, wow that is one beautiful anemone.
Can you get a picture of the base for us to see?
Now if you would just box it up and send it to me, all will be well over this way:)
But if you change your mine, you need to be feeding it silversides, or the equivilant of over there.
Mysis will not keep her happy and healthy.
Also a question, since she is a deep see anemone? Should she be getting so much light?
And does she hide during the day?
Just wondering how I need to prepare my tank, LOL. :whistling:
Here is a pic of one of my lovelys. She is always bubbled and loves to eat.
Don't know why it was reduced so small, guess you can click on it?

Gorgeous anemone.
I saw bubble tips like this in sulawesi when i was diving there last year. They were not in deep water though? Anywhere between 3 and 14 metres.

When I get 5 min, I'll bang up a couple of pics. At present i have a floro green with purple tip Entacmaea quadricolor . An unknown member of either Phyllodiscus, or Actinodendron which is doing very well despite difficulties encounterd by others who have tried apparently, and I have a blue Stichodactyla haddoni comming in a few weeks..

Regards

Simon.

I used to have a blue carpet nem.

Was fantastic colour and about dinner plate sized, sadly I have no picture of it.

I got rid of it after about 8 months when I witnessed it sting and kill a foxface and a mandarin in the same week!
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win

Check out www.Reefpark.net if you have a minute
