yes mate theres no center braceing in the cabinet im well happy with it quite a nice finish to it its like xmas i get to unrap this tomorrow just put it in there as i thought they got the length wrong im a bit annoyd they made the left hand side partition so wide but at least my schuran will fit in there nicely

very nice m8. i like the cabinet a lot.

if it was me i would change the baffles in the sump for a dsb but if your not having one then its fine.

mate cos the cabinet is so deep if i bring the sump to the front that gives me 12inchs of space behind the sump for a dsb i reckon i can fit a 25 liter water but in there what do you reckon??? that was my theory anyway

yeh but wont you want space for other kit. i.e kalk stirrer, calcium reactor, water container for auto top up. personally i need all that in the cabinet. thats why i cant have a dsb bucket

Looks good Dylan. I like the finish on the cabinet.

I'm in the same boat as you and Ben, gonna have to sacrifice the DSB bucket to allow space for calcium reactor, kalk stirrer etc.
I might stick the DSB bucket outside and feed it back into the sump cabinet.

If you're gonna stick any additional stuff into your cabinet, I'd recommend a top up reservoir.

it will just be a regular dsb with chaeto on top. it should end up about 16" long x about 6" deep. better than nothing and if i do it in sugarfine sand, and get some good life in there , it should do its thing.

From what I've heard, Dylan couldn't get the cabinet through his front door and had to dismantle it to get it into the flat. :cool3:
