i personally think it's another way of extracting money and cany see the point when the berlin method is tried and tested?
i always got colour from my SPS with what seems a lot less hassle.
i have also already noticed a few people doing it mentioning the ongoing costs etc......
jmo of course!

I don't feel the need to go down that route. Admittedly users seem to get some great colors, but at a price, both financial and other.
I'm happy that I have good colors, that my corals are not living on the edge and that I can go away for a week or more without any intervention required.
However, some of the products in the various ranges do seem like that would be advantageous in a 'regular' setup anyhow, thinking of the amino acid, bio-cultures and other food/additive products.

i can think back to the first time i read about this .Looking long and hard at the sps tank pics that were in the article
.The more i looked the more they reminded me of some of the acros we let rest for 2 or 3 weeks before we try to sale them ..I think that if it works for you then so be it .I see it this way ,give an sps good flow ,good water condi , good lighting and feeding and it will be the colour it wants to be and not the colour we want to make it a bit like nature .Funny thing is most sps in nature are green or brown with colourful tips ,some would say shame ...

I think it is a very interesting way to filter your aquarium. Achieving good water quality but the affect it has on corals i don't like the washed out pastel colours. For me to even consider this method it would have to be less labour intensive, as i wouldn't like to have to dose something every day. I would simply forget to and seen as your whole filtration starts to depend on these little bottles if i was using it i would be doomed. I do think we can learn alot in a positive way to help us in our more natural way of filtration like using carbon sources to feed our bacteria. I guess i should try it before i can have a real opinion on it but why bother when your phosphate are low to 0 and your nitrate are again low to 0 using natural methods. I think everyone on a low nutrient system should look their set up, 150w isn't going to give you a eye popping colours in sps. Get a 400w lumenarc and man up and pop in a 10k or what ever your heart desires. Then sit back and marvel when your corals colour up with in a week. Its worked for me and it can work for you.
