Thanks ..Gotta give the 12k most of the credit mind as the 10k have only been on for 10 days or so but if you look at the right hand arm its raced away sinse the change of light also its going alot thicker.

As are most of my corals now :) ...Looking forward to seeing yours start up aswell jas

When i get time like i said ill show what and how i feed my tank as this is helping no end.

Will be getting mine in soon as i have drilled her now and weir is done .Ben has the stand at his so when he gets back i want to get the stand in as i can work my sump out .I have a lot of 10mm glass out back so i will cut to size once i have the inside diameter of the stand .
Going for a bucket before my Remote DSB for detritus to build up in as the flow keeps it in a pyramid mound in the middle of the bucket .
Also adding a drain off in the middle so i can turn flow off and drain the detritus out .

Lindsay said he will do the electrics as hes top class at it :)

Will call on you and a few more to help get the tank in if thats ok m8

Will do some pics on the day

Thanks, Yes the colourization is superb now under 10k, It looked a little washed under the 12k lamp but the blues really stand out better now ... and dare i say the brown does aswell which compliments the blue so well.

Ill post another picture of the growth in another 8 weeks to compare its growth speed up against the 12k growth which will be interesting for me.

All in all my tank has picked up sinse changing lamps and even a green acropora has started to gain back its turquoise coloured tips, As under 12k it was'nt doing much apart from growing well.

Hoping to add a blue nava t5 soon to give the tank that extra sparkle aswell.

Really Doing well now the tank is maturing and the colours are very intense now, I think this is one SPS that needs alot of food it really polyps well at night and is the one acro that i can see postitive results from feeding, Dont ask why/how, It just reacts after a feeding session for some reason.

The lower one has and the above one has at least 3 months before it cains the closest acro, But as the tank progesesses the prefered acros will be given space, I have 50 odd and if i end up with 10 big ones then my goal is working, Its already happening now a few are outgrowing others but just like a garden you simply move the weaker ones and let the dominant one flourish, Then hopefully i'll end up with a tank that has a natural look to it kinda hard to explain, Its like chucking a pack of wild flower seeds on a bed and letting the bigger ones fight for survival, in the end you end up with a wild look.

Talking bullocks again

Dylan no reactor just a sock in the sump with some po4 remover in it.

Matt i feed a mixture of salifert coral food , dt oyster eggs, zooplankton and Tmc gamma nutra, aswell as frozen food for the fish seems to be working
