I got my first SPS Coral a few weeks ago and I noticed tonight the tips have starting turning white.

There was no white tips 2 weeks ago, that I can remember, could this be 2 weeks growth or am I just wishing it is.

I was given this coral with a few others, mainly softies, an ID would be nice of you people that know your SPS.

I think its growing nicely

I have seen on another site it been id'd as Acropora Youngi

In my opinion its Acropora Formosa youngi doesn't have that level of polyp extention and more pronounced coallites
