T5 Ballasts http://www.bltdirect...ing=t5+ballasts (back in stock again, they ran out last week)
Could also try http://bosslighting.co.uk/index.html
Can't find the link for the T5 end caps though.

to start the list i would like
2 x 39w tubes and mabye 2 endcaps, but that depends on the size and price.

Starters...

If you want a twin-starter or dimmable version, look around their website they have plenty.
Endcaps...

Tubes...

Obviously this is for a 'kit' as such, so you'll need to wire up the endcaps to the ballast, tho that is very simple.

I think you would need two. Under my 1050W of halide I have a single 85W tube which is fine. So purely on a ratio basis...
85/1000 = 0.085
24/400 = 0.06
I'd go for two. Take a look on the BLT website and you can find twin Osram or Tridonic T5 24W starters for under £30

You've confused me! If you have an arcadia ballast then I presume you have the endcaps already?? Yes you can get end-caps on their own, but they are unlikely to be the nice 'ip rated splash proof' ones like the arcadia ones. You can get the 'nice' end caps on 2m leads, see my link above, and you can always join the wires up to your existing arcadia one, but keep the wires as short as possible, preferably not much more than 2m.
If you don't have any ballasts or endcaps at the moment, I would buy an Osram twin 39W starter from the BLT place for £28 and wire it up to two sets of the endcaps as listed.
Of course, I think you can probably get an Arcadia Twin 39W T5 starter for around £60, so you're probably only going to save around £20.

the ones you have linked to seem to be a molded end cap and thus i would need to change the wires as well, which isnt possible on the arcadia.
basicly am i stuck with the big white ones do you know?

Is it a T5 starter, if so then you can just chop and join the leads. If it was for T8 lamps, then as far as I'm aware the ballasts are not compatible.

I've got to say i was very happy with my 24 watt version as it worked out cheaper than the kit form , and it arrived in no time!
