i really want these, problem is my tanks only 3ft so its gunna be twin 39w's. im just not sure there gunna have the punch im lookin for, plus there gunna be on the back brace bar so there gunna need to be pretty intense any opinions??

nothing much you can do dylan, unless your prepared to build a hood to hide the tubes in. i will be putting 2 on my back brace bar as i have no where else to put them. but i have a t8 there at the moment ,and when the halide goes off all the corals are glowing, so i know the light is getting to them.

Thats the one good thing about T5's they all have same punch regardless of length the watts/inch is the same roughly.
