this is something im not used to as ive always had an open top tank, but my ph is reading 7.9 - 8, at 3pm.
im assuming its because i now have a tank with a lid so the gas exchange isnt as good.

should i try and buffer it or would it be better to leave it as long as its stable?

I'd leave it for the moment and see if it is stable, NSW is about 8 anyway.

Mine is nearly always 7.8 to 8.0 if I artificially raise it then my supermans polyps all retract.

Cheers

Kev
Tankless at the moment :-(

Hopefully not long to wait

Depends what levels everything elts is at really? Whats your KH calcium magnesium. But having a lid on your tank will suppress your Ph. You could try venting it maybe but in would check your chemistry first

I would try buffering the kh a little bit and see if that helps i normally run mine between 10 and 12. What salt are you using calcium and magnesium seem good
