are these baby suns?

as above i have a sun coral that gets fed directly every week to 2 weeks.
has it had babys cause these tiny polyps have started to appear in a few places in my tank.

the polyps are prob about a couple of millimeters.

they are all well spead out and quite far away from the mother colony.

been loking around the tank there is about 6 of these all in different places all around the tank, but also noticed some tiny bits of frogspawns here and there aswell as though the frog has been spawning aswell.
might be down the the moonlight kit i got of ebay that supposedly replicates the 28.3 moon cycle or my recent vortech powerhead.

Iwould say yes .Sometimes get them doing this in the bag on a delivery but not very often .

Yes they are m8 ,be nice to see pics on there growth progress each month .


If anyone else has spawning pics or pics with new colony's turn up out of the blue please post up pics guys .

There is a member on another forum that has suns spawn so frequently they are spreadding like xenia!

Would sell my mother for a sun that spawned as yours has :thanks: You must be chuffed to bits

ta very much everyone i beleive the type of sun i have can spawn every six weeks and can take 2 months to get to the stage of my babies

lol just been zapping the aips and there is a larger young sun that i never spotted that is in my weir attached to the base of a mangrove root.
will get pics tomorrow.

bit of an update on the baby suns, got a large one attached to my weir pipe that will be amusing if i break the tank down in a few years, i can imagine the advert
1 x 25 inch 50 mm pipe covered in sun coral.

nice bit of progress eh?
17 of them that are really growing (and they are fairly spread out)
and 6 that are slow growers
