Sump pump died the other week and for 3 days I lost my skimmer and heater without realizing. Unfortunately the 19 - 29 degree temperature swings proved too much and the sps gave up. When I was able to get hold of a new pump after the holidays I stabilized all the parameters again and they have been constatnt now for 3 days but my last 2 sps still look like they are going to go rtn from the base. I am running polyfilter and carbon and water changing is there anything else I can do or is it delayed shock?

The kids have made good use of the skeletons but I can think of better ways I could lose a grand!

:burp: :D Bummer :D :o dude the only good thing that can come out of this, is to change any thing you have wanted to change but never got to do it. It can also inspire you to start with new ideas. I hope the others left pull through for you.
Life is to short for frags

Man that sucks big time, Hope you dont give up!

I dont think you can do much tbh apart from taking them out asap as they just make things worse when they slime and die.

Chin up tho try and frag some tips and save them, who knows in a years time they might be all colonys again and that will make you feel even more proud of the tank.

Sorry to hear about that, a similar thing happened to me not so long ago, power failure.

Don't need to worry about it so much these days as I've moved to an area where the electric supply seems stable.
Tank is empty though and has been for 3 weeks now.

Sorry to hear of bad news m8 ,i agree with the guys as all you can do now is let settle do some fragging and keep any slimming corals away from other corals as this may stress out the neighboring coral .

Once again sorry to hear m8
