Turned the ventilation off yesterday to keep the temperature of the room up and noticed the ph of the sps tank was point 2 lower than normal by the end of the day.Today put the ventilation back on 15 mins each hour and the ph was back up the point 2 that had dropped the other day .
Have any of you had a ph drop of late with doors and windows shut to keep in the heat ?.

Good post Linds.I notice a small dop but i tend to keep windows on vent so not so bad.I was talking to mark at tac and you tend to see more cyano, white spot and other issues as the temperatures drop.I think it could have something to do with people closing windows at the start of winter, droping ph a little.......

Thanks for that linds, been baffled as to why ours was dropping. Our tank is in the lounge where all we think about is keeping it warm, now gone through our records and it started to drop when the heating went on and we told the kids to keep the door shut. All the best Jackie and Paul
