How are you going with you 6000k Iwasaki Andrew,Keep us posted on them m8 as i want to see what the growth rate and shap is like on the sps.Also keep an eye on the colour and let us know if the sps are putting it on or loosing it

I think it's still a bit early to say yet Jas my colours were better with the XM10k's, but don't forget they were 400 watters not 250's.
Plus the tank switch was'nt that long ago, so i'm guessing not everything would have fully settled down yet.
When Tim came to help take the old tank away everything was a different shade of brown, thankfully the colours are starting to show through but not as quickly as I thought they would.
I'm keeping up with the water changes so if the colour and growth don't take off soon i'll look at putting a 400 back over it!

Hmm brown coral around a reef with colourful fish swimming around sounds fine to me, Its not always about appearance the aquascaping looked great , You'll regret not doing a ''blog'' one day when it comes around,

Lets face it you aint ever going to have colourful colours with 6.5k so get em up :worship: Better now than later

agreed, its not just about when the tank looks nice but its nice to see how it changes.

I think the 6500ks will be the making of the tank so will be nice to see before and after pics ,just realise i put 6000ks and not 6500ks as title of the post :worship:
