got to be honest even though i stock these bulbs i think they are really bad quality the colour drops of so quickly i wouldnt dream of trying a monti over these , the way ahead is an arcadia starter unit with there on brand whites and narva blue actinics, before u ask why do i stock them its coz the shop is under contract to stock interpet

Nothing comes close to ati tubes imo! Fitted an actinic 03 a couple days ago :whistling: wow!
For four tubes i would run two aquabue specials, one blue plus and one 03 actinic.
What lighting unit are they going to be used in?

Is that the arcadia I bar? I would use the tubes i said above.

The aquablue specials are white tubes around 11/12k
The blue plus is a high output blue tube with almost the same par as the whites!
The actinic 03 is obviously an actinic tube but what i will say is this tube is fantastic! I gives real floro colours and just a hint of purple, its perfect!

You should try and get some good quality reflectors. One per tube.I think ati do these seperatly also so i would try and get them.I get mine mail order from blue zoo aquatics. They normaly take around a week to arrive. They are made in germany and are very popular in europe!

You could keep any lps corals, zoas etc and i would give montys a go for sure.Just try some good frags first.

Cheers

If you got Arcadia reflectors then keep them as they are just as good as the ATI reflectors only slightly larger.

Personaly i think the narva is a very good tube and the only thing i have tried thats better is the ATI.If you want a blue tube with high output for SPS then i would go for ATI blue plus.If you want a tube for seriouse flouro colours and dont need the high output due to your other lighting then go for the ATI 03 actinic. The actinic is a very good tube to bring out colours!
