hi
planning my upgrade thinking of replacing 2x250 watt halide
with 400watt luminarc can some one please give me the size of the reflector as room above tank will be limited

Check out the lumenarc website, just google it as I did last week, think the lumenarc III is 19.5 inches square and 8 inches high.

Just sold my Mini's - Speak to B0M8ER, he has 2 mini's set up over his tank due to space. His tank thread is on here somewhere.

would you go with 250w or 400 watt

new tank will probably 24" deep and contain sps

I would go for 400ws but you also have to look at the extra electric costs as your looking at an extra 300w for the 2 units .

That aside the extra punch the 400ws give you looks great and the SPS love it once settled in

Its a case of running costs over performance m8

i think im well past worrying about electric costs :whistling:

what sort of money are we talking for a pair complete bulbs , ballast etc
