Well its about time i started a new thread,i've decided on a fresh start after ongoing issues with my last last tank,i've had the tank a couple of months and progress has been slow but its nearly ready now.
The tanks very nearly 4'x3' its a metric tank measuring 120x100x45cm not as tall as i wanted but rimless,always really liked the look of rimless tank,it going to be quite low so you can look down on the corals, not to mention the ease of maintenance

heres the tank after i picked it up

Love rimless tanks they always look so clean, If it was me I would hang the lights from the cieling as I think it clutters the tank and may take away from the rimless design.

lights will be hung from the ceiling,the pic was just after collecting the tank and i was just checking the tank over

light hung, still trying to figure out what lamps to use with this never used 250w DE before.Fancy trying the radium 20k but can't find a 250w DE





wider reflectors than on most pendants,hope its up to the job.The light spread is pretty good it covers the 3' easy.

Thanks dave looking down is the main benefit of this style of tank,nice carpet of acropora!
expect i've answered your question,had this pendant sitting around for the last couple of years, its still new and never been used so thought i need to at least try it, problem with lumenarcs there just too big and ugly.
