lumenarcs

After mulling over whether to go with a Gisemann infiniti or the Lumenarc III, I have decided to go with a couple of the Coralvue lumenarc 400w kits. I have noticed that the mini's come with a glass shield, but the larger ones don't. Was wondering if I would have to fix glass shields onto the larger ones, or just leave them as they are?

Most don't seem to bother with the glass.

You only need the glass shields on double ended lamps, whereas the single ended ones don't need a glass shield.
