:angry: Great little beasts Linds,ive got three in my system.If you want free coral food you can briefly lower the salinity a tiny bit and they will spawn like crazy for you! :D

I have no idea Tony but it works for mine.Not that i ever aim to do it,but it happens every time.If my salinity is say 1.027 and i lowered it to 1.025-1.026 they always spawn.

I might put hi in the QT tank and give it a try.

We have two in the sps system Ben ,i think it was Si who mentioned they were a better choice than the urchins we had in the tank at the time to eat the turf algae ,which they seem to be doing :lol: .Good news on the spawning Dave ,corals would love that :P .
Perhaps its worth asking if anybody has any other kind of fish or invert that spawn in their tanks? if so please add below :) .

Re the turf algae Linds,ive added a sea hare a few weeks back and he's taken out all algae in the system to the point of me needing to think about feeding him nori! It would be an idea to have one in store to lone out on rotation to people so everybody can benifit and the hare wont starve in a cleaned out system.Mine even eats the wirey green stuff.
