Nice and compact. Is that a 'slim-weir' ?

total height is 55in so not that bad
the weir is 8x10in it has a reflective cover over the glass should look cool as i am planning on a pinnacle in the centre so you should be able to see the back of the rocks in the reflection of the weir.
going to tile the cabinet in the same ones as on the floor to keep wifey happy  :P

I would guess the same as if it is just wood, through doors or a detachable panel, with tiles cut to allow access. I like the thought of it.

Drew, will you be picking up the pattern from the floor, i.e. lining up the grout lines etc?

going to use 12mm ply to box the sides and back, the front will have a small frame with 2 large doors at the front
the chap that tiled the lounge and hall is coming over to tile it for me as it all needs to line up with the floor grout lines etc.
still trying to get my head around getting the chiller plumbed in under the floor to the outside, holes ready to go for the pipework just a matter of pump to use.
will post pics of cabinet when i get it sorted
thanks for the interest and comments  :D :D
cheers

You're not wrong!
I personally think the Freesat is better than Sky HD
