I have 2 frags of montipora digitata next to each other, one pink and one silver/purple,

They have recently been added to the tank from 2 seperate sources, are they likely to get along or start out and out warfare as they grow into each other?
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win

The digi's I've added have gotten on well together, so you should be ok. What I have done in the past when wondering about this issue is actually place the corals temporarily so that they are just touching each other and see what happens. Anything bad usually shows itself in 24 hours or so.
