A few pics of my neighbors koi just before he had to get rid of them (several reasons) I helped him set up and work through the many trials it threw at him and the end result i think was splendid

let me know what you think, im currently on a quest to expand my pond into something similar as my fish are all small and largely lower grade atm

People tend to get caught up in all the grading etc etc, in reality it is far better to pick the fish you like and think look good

If they are excellent grade, thats merely a bonus

The majority of the fish shown above are isreali which atm i think are on par with many japanese fish, though i know enough people that would totally diasagree with me on that !!

Very nice Tom.I love koi,we have a few nice ones.My favourite has to be a golden ogon. Its almost golden/orange. :P I know what you meen about grades,we just get what looks good! Been looking for a black and white for ages but finding one with clean black and white with no mixing of colour into gray seems difficult around here.

Lovely fish my mate did keep them but the Otters ate them all over a space of a week, Even with the pond covered they knocked over the stones that held the net in place, In the end we made a metal mesh cover which looks ugly but keeps them out.
