Hi everyone,
Following a brilliant couple of hours in the coral room at Jasons Mandy and I have just joined the forum. We live in cornwall, make fishing bait for a living and have a DD28 nano stocked mostly with Lps, although I love the unusual too.
We've gone for a very natural set up simulating the steep side of a reef. The full back wall and most of one side of the tank is plate LR.On this 'wall' we have several sun corals, galaxia, zenia, several ricordia sp. zoas, briarium, a RBTA, a couple of finger leathers, a plating monti and all sorts of assorted polyps. At the base of the wall (on the sand bed) there is a branched hammer, a torch coral, a fungia, a couple of clams, 2 oysters, a large 100+ head + sun coral and some blue mushis. Hiding here and there are scallops, shrimps, and the usual snails, blue, red and brown hermits, an atlantic nem and a blue star fish. There are a few swimming fish like creatures including 3 percular clowns but corals are the main interest. There is a breeding brine shrimp population and we feed live phyto to begin the food chain.
Even though the tank is only 28 gallon we use a deltec600 skimmer 24/7 as the suns are very hungry, and when they're hungry you gotta feed them.

hi again everyone, thanks.
Thanks for the hellos.,regarding the pictures on this forum I'd love to get some more up but how do I include them in my posts? as an attachment it says my space (500k) is used! do i need to host them elsewhere and link to them?
daft question I bet, but the uploader system is different to the ones i've used before.
cheers
