BUT 2-3 MOUTHS AGO I TRYED TO KEEPS SOME ACROS. ( NOT HAVING MUCH LUCY ).
I HAVE NOW JUST ORDERED A 250 WATT UNIT, DO YOU THANK THIS WILL HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

MY TANKS IS A AQUA ONE CORNER UNIT , TANK DEPTH IS 2ft - 190LTS ( CLOSED SYSTEM )

WILL BE PUTTING SOME PICS OF MY TANK ON NEXT WEEKEND FOR YOU ALL TO HAVE A LOOK AT.

I did exactly the same with my corner tank and never looked back i went from 150w to 250 with no problems regarding acros getting used to new light.

You may see an increase in extra heat tho but thats easy enough to deal with, Youll get better growth much thicker and more colourful
and you can place them pretty much where you like and they will still do well.

THANKS FOR THAT.
DO YOU THINK I WILL HAVE TO LIFT THE NEW UNIT HIGHER, AS THE LIGHT UNIT AT THE MOMENT
IS ONLY AROUND 8" FROM THE WATER. ALSO WILL THE NEW LIGHT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE OTHER CORALS.

THANKS IAN ( WHITETIP31 )

I would say you should be fine, to be on the safe side , raise the lights a little and then gradually bring them back down to the 8" height again.

There shouldn't be any real problems if you do this and it should stop bleaching of lps.

I run triple 250's over a 24" deep tank not that the fact they are triples will make much difference other than light spread
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win
