When we had two small frags from Tim, they left a small coating on the rack which i have left to grow. The encrusting has stopped spreading along the rack now that the coral has started growing branches.May not be the most colourful coral in the world but i think its great and look forward to seeing it grow.

Do you think the size of this corals large base is down to the flow like Simon talked about on his last visit?

Not sure but suspect that it spread along the rack as it grew thick enough for the branches to appear, now it is growing branches it has stopped spreading.

The other day i noticed a small stag tip had fallen in the middle of the above coral but to my surprise when i removed the tip 2 days later there was no sign of any damage to the tip or fire coral.
