Hi guys i am new to the site!!

I had a guy come to my house the other day to buy a frag or 2 and he recommended this site to me so here i am

At the mo i have a 5x2x2 full reef with corals ranging from mushies, leather to acans bubble's and SPS. I am just getting into SPS so i dont have anything really fancy just yet. I really would like a blue sps or some sort, can anyone tell me if they are really hard to keep?? I have 2x 250w MH (arcadia series 4) with 2x blue actinic T5. I have a OR6500 return and a polario 22000 running about half power, ATI 250 skimmer and a Deltec 601 calcium reactor, heaters trickle filter and thats about it. So with the 8 SPS i have what seem to be doing well do you think i blue SPS of some sort would be ok??

Thanks in Advance

 to IR, what type's of SPS do you keep?, as long as you keep the coral high up on the reef under your light I cant see any reason why you cant have a blue type SPS coral :wOOt2:

Welcome to the site! It sounds like you have things pretty much sewn up equipment wise, so SPS shouldn't be a problem, you just need to keep on top of the water quality.

I've had mixed results with blue acros, the lighter more delicate colored ones seem to require better conditions than the darker ones. Speak to Lindsay or Jas or see what else pops up. Oh, and get some pics up, we like pics.
