Hello folks,

The name is Campbell (that's my first name by the way ;) ) Been reading some of the threads on here and it seems like a nice place, so thought I'd join in and introduce myself.

I am new to the this board but have been keeping Marines coming up on 4 years now started off with a Rio300 but upgraded to a 8x2x2 with sump this time last year. I like my fish more than corals but do have a few corals, Sun Corals, Mushrooms but my favourite are the Octocorals. I have Xenia, doesn't everyone, Organ Pipes and Star Polyps of various species and colours.

Fishwise I have the following, most of them have been with me from the start, August 2005, but the Tangs and Chalk Bass are relatively new, I got them in February this year.

1 x Indian Ocean Gold Ring Tang
1 x Lipstick Tang
2 x Yellow Tangs
1 x Flame Angel
1 x Coral Beauty
2 x Yellow Okinawae Gobies
1 x Yellow Tailed Blue Damsel
1 x Orchid Dottyback
1 x Female Scooter Dragonet
1 x Orange Spot Goby
2 x Premnas Clowns
1 x Wetmorella Wrasse
1 x Midas Blenny
1 x Tailspot Blenny
5 x Chromis
3 x Yellow Striped Cardinal
1 x Hasselt Goby
2 x Chalk Bass
1 x Red Firefish
1 x Squammi
1 x Common Clown

Of all them it's the Chromis that get the most remarks, usually "Look at the size of the Chromis" :D Yes they are big, the largest 3+ inches, the rest not far behind.

Systemwise I have kept it pretty basic, Deltec AP702 gravity fed, DSB and 2 x Eheim 5000 Compact returns. For flow I am using 5 x Koralia 4s plus a Koralia Magnum 7 (10500lph) pump but I am just not happy with the flow, never have been. Before the Koralias I had 4 x Tunze 6100 on a 7095 but, then as now, I just can't seem to get the flow right.

Aside from that everything seems to be going well except I have a little Diatom/Dino outbreak on the sand at the moment.

Well that's it for now, hope to talk to you all around the forum.

Cheers,
Campbell
