Which reactor?

Hopefully i can get the answers here first!

Basic queastion which one would i need on a 150g tank, also how much zeolites do i need also?

You will need 1.5ltrs of stones with a flowrate of 400-600lph. So you would need the 120

I dont suppose you know how much space ill need to pull up the pump?

Tim you are 5x2x2, same as me no? I only use 1 litre of stones. I worked my volume out 'after' displacement. I think that's what they advised me to do on the zeovit forum.


I got a second hand grotech reactor for 50 quid, i'm running a maxi jet 500 on it.

I worked out I needed 24" of space to pull the plunger up.

Same specs Ross except im 30 wide, Just read the Zucht guide and im meant to start off with 1 litre then when the nutrients come down i up to 1.5

Cheers Jas. Think i'll leave diy reactors alone for the minute maybe very easy ta make but i dont trust my DIY with a ZeoVIT reactor

If mem serves me right i think there was a zeo reactor on one of my wholesale lists ,i will take a look later and get a price
