No Ben, I've always been very happy with the results I've got using 'old school' methods and, tbh managing ULNS systems are not my cup of tea, the results are good but theres' too many bottles and drops of this and squirts of that to be done each day, it's too hands on for me. I like systems that run themselves.

I agree, I'm almost sure I had a bit of this stag and it's lime green in lower light and the green goes a lighter colour in higher ligh and yellow in ULNS.

yeh there does seem to be a lot to get your head around with zeovit. far too much like a chemistry set for my liking. although it is interesting to see it done by others.

No tank can run hands off if it can show me! . Zeovit really does not take more than 5 mins per day of effort, Considering it takes 2 hours to get ro water for a change then adding time to mix it up ...
If you break down zeovit there isnt much to it compared to normal going on with the berlin method, you still do water changes and test etc etc.
But for me zeovit gives you as royal kick up the arse .. there is no time to be complacent when complacency kicks in tanks start to wander a little
and thats where traditional methods can start to dwindle, its ok to skip a water change with berlin methods but with zeovit you cannot, its more regimented regarding how much effort one puts into a tank, But more often than not simply complacency is often a downfall with traditional methods
Its not for the lazy reefer there is no ill do it later or next week perhaps, You have to stick with the programme, no iff nor buts, So whether or not this puts off reefers is down to their own lifestyles and social habits, Its certainly not for everybody, But it sure works if you have some actual time devoted to running a reef system

Would i sell zeovit ,yes if you want it ,would i run it ,,,no not for me as i have my own issues with the idea and that's not being bitchy as i also believe its ideas that have got this hobby to where it is today .
There are a few reasons i see on boards as to why guys go down the zoe road
1, I have high nutrient buildups
2, I have a small sump area
3, LOL the big one ,i want that bright colour
But for me these are not the reasons i would do the zeovit if i were going to as i think all these you can get with a natural approach if the husbandry was adopted to make happen (And much safer).
Zeovit for me is better done for the reasons of i want to see how it runs and are there any advantages in certain areas that mixed with other ideas will improve reef keeping as a whole ,This kind of approach is a brilliant reason for doing the zeovit UNLS as it may well move the hobby on another notch .
Out of the 3 reasons i have listed the common one is colour and i can see the attraction if that's what you want but on a more personal note i would get bored of the bright pale colours as i think the shades of colour and textures you can get with the more natural approach would keep me glued to a tank for longer .But like said That's only MO and we all differ, this is why this hobby is growing so fast as there are a lot of avenues to go down that will pull your chain in one way or another .
Keep Us posted as to your progress Tim, just because i don't agree with the idea doesn't mean its not an interesting one and one i will follow with an open mind

Then another guy was confused as to the name given Acropora Enzman but was familliar with the name Acropora Tumida.
On searching the name Enzman the Name Tumida always comes up .On the coral id site it comes up as Tumida not Enzman
OMG i need to sit down ,,lol now the names are getting like the zoanthus as Lindsay has just called it the mellow yellow zeovit fellow lol ,Sorry a little bit of pun there lol
Lindsay said he gets loads of them on new deliveries but wont let customers have them till there green again

Fantastic to look at, but not something you would be prepared to put yourself through to look nice.
I cant help feeling I am looking at a tank full of starving corals.
