Had a look at the tank about an hour after the main lights went out and saw these critters crawling all over my Zoo garden. when i put the light on the first hid quickly then the second followed but managed to get these piccies.

I reckon that they are bad but my Zoos seem to be thriving and nothing has been added since they were introduced.

Heres the photos.

Be warned Rocky that wont be the only one, you will need to start dipping that coral and any other zoo coral in your tank in regular intervals to rid them all mate

What i cant understand is the Frags have been in over a month now with no signs of die back if anything they are spreading well.

I have only found two and from what ive been hearing they breed fast. Surely there would be a lot more visual on my daily inspection. :shock7:

Since i got the two out i havent noticed anymore. Could i just be lucky or am i just waiting for the impending doom from thousands of Eggs ;)

Well its been a few weeks now and i have not noticed any more spiders and my Zoo's have not been affected at all, in fact they are spreading really well.

Could i have been very lucky? :D

My only thought would be that you have caught 1 but seen 2 so the chances are that there are more in hiding
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win

Your looking for any closed polyps rocky ,if you get any that don't open for a while then get a scalpel and cut the polyp out .If your feeling up to it once the polyp is cut from the rock cut the polyp and see if there is a spider in the middle .

Jas,
All polyps open up during the lighting period without fail but ill keep an eye out in the future and if any do as you say ill remove and cut open the polyp.

Bobba,
Meant to say got the second out as well the night after ;) , not seen any since. :good:

Cheers Guys.
