I own a recruitment agency that deals mostly within construction and housing sectors. It is a very tough climate out there at the moment, there have been so many jobs cuts in that sector, it has taken a right hiding. :D

If you want to send me a copy of your CV I will see what I can do although it will likely take several months to get you back into drawing for a housing developer, so my advice is take anything as a 'port in a storm' until a more suitable job crops up.

The crazy thing is, two years ago people like you could cherry pick the job they wanted, employers would get into bidding wars with each other scrapping over a new recruit. :sign_lol:

Here's my contact details:

tony AT abrecruiting DOT co DOT uk

No probs if you don't want to register. :sign_lol:

Good luck,

Tony

You could try giving tulip a ring formally roach foods ok packing bacon isnt the best job but the money is ok.

On the downside i did hear that they now only take on the polish etc etc etc which is a rant i wont start.

Maybe give them a ring

Hi Slappy,
The funny thing is that i used to work for Bob Pepper for total of approx 10 years at Frame and Perran Trusses and i left last year to come too my present job for a change of work place plus a better offer.

Oh how things have back-fired!!!!!!

I might have to swallow my pride and creep for my job back!!

Do you work there if so i will probably know you!!!

No luck as yet but my old firm is sending me drawings to do at home as a kind of free-lance designer. Its keeping the wolf from the door at the moment but as one of you guys said to me any port in a storm will do at the moment especilly when you have a tank, a 2 year old boy and a house to pay for or should i have put my priorities the other way round!!!

Thanks again for asking,

Ant
