just got back from holiday in mexico

ive just got back from cozumel, mexico and thought id start sharing some photos

there was miles of coastline like this with empty beaches, not many people.....nice :)

these were taken on the pier from the beach, drop some bread in and they would swarm from everywhere.
the triggers were from about 8'' upto 18'' in size, really nice to watch while swimming on the beach

these were taken while snorkling n the beach, got lots more but not uploaded them yet

the reefs were not packed with corals like i would have liked. all the reefs round the island are protected by the government and patrolled really well. a dive master i went on a boat with said huricane wilma destroyed a hell of a lot of the corals, and the remains ware now starting to regrow. the fish and sealife on the reefs are superb though which made up for the lack of coral but they are a lot harder to photograph. more soon

the trigger swam across infront of me, and down to the sea bed, it then just hovered for about 5 mins letting the angel clean it, really nice to watch

this last one was growing out of the sand, there was a garden of these growing, should have got a shot of them all

What camra did you use Pete ?

Looks like you had a cracking time ,if your passing call in for a chat

I used an olympus c5050 with waterproof housing, I will pop up in the next couple of days. and it was awesome!!
