little update on the tank havnt added any more corals for quite some time now gunna pop over and see the boys at the end of the week, am enjoying this tank as it's more fish based than coral thus less equipment equals less maintenece in the evenings having worked in the shop all day t5's are doing the buisnees monti in the middle is growing out nicely under them

x7 39w mate 5 jbl 15k whites , 2 jbl actinic, 1 giesmann actinic plus may swap a couple more whites for 2 more actinic plus as i really like that bulb

you are right tony it's 4 whites !!! i cant get rid of that wrasse he's great with all the fish in the tank just no other wrasse he's def my fav fish stunning in the flesh, i've had that clam for as long as i can remember it's in it's 3rd tank and is about 10 inchs long dave

as planned changed a few bulbs yesterday now have 3 jbl white, 3 giesmann actinic + and one giesmann pure actinic all's good coral growth should bre good still as the actinic plus has a high par reading with a fair amount of white in it

not much room left for corals may put a flexibilis on the left hand side to give it some hight chalk bass are growing nicely, tank is literally on fire on the right hand side :cool3: :D :P

Love the tank mate, its really filling up nicely now! Loads of colour in there too which is great. That Monti in the middle is very impressive and makes a really nice centre piece. I'd also have to agree with the others about the rockwork as I too think its just right! :cool3:

r.i.p golden shoulder wrasse this is an old pic of him in my old tank had him for ages turned out into a truly stunning fish the kids fav. how he got out ius beyond me must have been when i was cleaning hit the carpet so i didnt here the noise totally gutted , if there is a plus side i will be able to add a couple of different wrasses now as he was so dominant

It sure was stunning Dylan, Tis a shame that wrasse often end on as carpet surfers.


Im sure you'll get some extra special ones in to replace the one you lost .. Ive lost count of the rarities you get in!!!.
