The flame is doing fine Trev i dont suspect its him .. I havent caught a fish nipping yet but i think its the Regal angel, I ran outta New era flake over a week ago and ''think'' this may be the reason.
It might also be the Copperband as he does tend to pick at night

I will try a close up shot

I dont know if you do Tim but i feed my regal nori every day in a clip.He eats algae more than any tang i have ever kept.I just use the sushi nori from the super markets.I cant see the copperband going for sps but you never know!

Hi dave yeh i have the same routine although my regal is painfully shy compared to my tangs.

Fingers crossed and toes my formosa is back to normal early days mind, But it seems atm to have gone back to normal, i cant for the life of me think why this acro would do this, Acropora stags can revert polpys when threatended but for two whole days seems wierd to me.

It might be a rogue red leg crab .. Only time will tell.

Dave how long does your nori last before they lose interest?

On the other hand it may not be fish damage, fish often like to bite the tips on an acro which in the pic look ok,that said fish can be unpredictable :) .

I put in a bit of a sheet about 3 inches by 2 inches and she feeds from it all day long.I replace every morning.I think its the key to keeping these fish as they seem to get irritated if they cant pick at something all day.
On the formosa Tim did you notice any white stringy guts coming out from those patches as mine feeds this way and when i first saw it i filled my pants thinking it was baling out! Is it just starting to get growth tips back or did it already have some?
