i have quite a large yellow tang in my tank, gets on with everyone in the daytime. All changes when the halide goes off and the tank is only lit by an all blue aquaray, as soon as tank is in semi darkness his dorsal is up and he goes around trying to pick an argument with anyone. When the tank is in complete darkness he goes to bed.
Going to re set the lights so tank goes dark as soon as halide goes out.
Anyone else had this problem or have i just got a pain in the arse tang ??

not heard of that before, but i dont suggest switching the lights off so the tank goes into complete darkness all of a sudden. this can spook fish and cause more problems.

as long as nothing is suffering from the tangs activities i would say see how it goes.

although tommo might have a better idea on the problem
