This was my last experience with Salifert...

Am currently using the SeaChem one which seems ok. Haven't tried Elos. Was going to experiment with LaMotte and/or Macharey Nagel versions next.

I have used JBL (which measures in 1 dkh increments), Elos (to .5dkh) and Machery and Nagel (1 dkh). I must say that the M&N kit is the easiest to use as the colour change is very apparent, blue to red. They do all read slightly differently and I have been recently using the M&N. I don't find the colour change quite as aparent on the other two tests.
Maybe I should take all the kits round to Keiths and test them against his SeaChem kit.

Okay - Maybe we should get an FM kit as well just for good measure? http://shop.faunamarin.de/product_info.php...H-Test-Kit.html my JBL kit is almost empty but I reckon it will be good for a few more test, so I could replace with the FM. Will have search to see where I can get one in the UK.
Away next week but let me know when you are ready.

The new kit didn't have the indicator bottle but the reagent has a dye in it. My problem is the colours are very hard to see let alone get an accurate reading from.
Anyone else find this or might i have a faulty kit, or do i need to get to spectacular savers
