I'd be interested in where you hope to get it filled. A local bottle filler could be very useful in the future.
I'm ok ATM but sometimes circumstances change and its good to have a backup.

I've got a small refillable bottle that came with my co2 kit from Germany.

I've contacted J&J Gas in Perranporth and they can refill them but won't refill a fire extinguisher co2 bottle.

If you've got the regulator then you can get any bottle, take the regulator to somewhere like Pressure Lines and they will make up an adaptor to suit. Thats what I did to change the very small Deltec one which fitted the disposable bottles to fit the cellar type bottles. Best £5 I ever spent!

Tim, does it really matter what it looks like as long as it's doing it's job. If you don't like the look of it, get a spray can from Halfords and spray it prior to use.

Why do you need to learn how to operate a fire extinguisher or co2 bottle?

You don't need to get it online, Jason can order one in for you from TMC.

A lot of courier companies and also Royal mail will not deliver a co2 bottle as it's compressed, so you need to look into that before placing an order whereas Jason's TMC delivery bloke will bring one down when ordered, plus you wouldn't need to pay shipping on it.

Do you want a smaller bottle or just a 'tidier' bottle? If smaller, what sort of size?

Don't you have somewhere in the region of a 24" gap on the right of your tank cabinet? Can it not go there, just box it in or put a plant in front of it.

Or you could get a Painball bottle......Fleabay
Or get the missus to make a pink furry cover for it, with two eyes and ears.
Anyway Sumps areas dont work unless they look like shite.

:wallbash: Be careful with the paintball bottles as the CO2 contains additives to lubricate the guns....or something like that!

Small polished NOS bottle? You're probably better off with the TMC one tho.
