right so now i have introduced myself heres a pic of the tank and some pics of the to acros i got from jasons today :ponder:

Attached File  03112009774.jpg (80.19K)
Number of downloads: 88
Attached File  03112009775.jpg (44.61K)
Number of downloads: 30
Attached File  03112009776.jpg (46.16K)
Number of downloads: 25

the acro's look alot closer than they are so don't worry about that one :cry5:

params as of today - not tested for a month but after speakin to jas today i fought i might as well:

sg 1.025
PH (roughly) 8.1
temp 24.8
nitrates <5
mag 1260
cal >420
PO4 <0.03
KH 6.1

no i no the mag needs to come up and i can do that fine but what would you guys reccomend for bringing the KH up?

comments welcome thanks :cry5:

Looking great B)

Unless you are maintaining youre kh by regular bicarb addition via a dosing pump i would bring the kh up to 9 or a little more to be on the safe side.

thanks dave

yeh, just ordered some reef buffer from muzzy so shall see how i get on with that :) it's always been around 9, not to sure why it's dropped tbh ;) but i'll bring it up slowly :)

gota admit i've done things a bit arse-backwards, adding new corals THEN testing B)

and the tang will be fineeeeeeeee :D

Welcome to I/R m8 .

Tank looks lovely, and like Dave said regarding the Kh 9 to 9.5 is good but please do this slowly as your corals have to adjust slow as they would have settled to the Kh levels there in now

Keep the pics rolling in m8

thanks jas - what sorta increment would you reccomend per day?

0.5 daily? or would that still be too much of a shock?
