Just a quickie to say thanks to Jason and Lindsay for allowing us to invade and insult them once again, also thanks to Chriss who made the interactive side possible once again. :D

A big thank you to everyone who took part and to those who came in, nice to see new faces, and old ones.

Last but not least, a very big thank you to Simon Garratt for taking the time to come down for a visit/meet/chin wag/offering free advice, drinking the tea/coffee and scoffing the biscuits. :D

Looked a real success. Have to say though I can't help thinking it would be nice to see the members who were online purchasing last night be a little more proactive on the forum at other times rather than just for frag night. Just my thoughts!

Pehaps we'll add a registration page that requests a tank photo!

Judging by the stats on a couple of random names, I guess most have just joined up to buy used equipment and frags.

Jas and Lynds...fully understand its a business at the end of the day and please don't be offended by my remarks, but I feel we, the usual suspects, do make the effort to keep the forum alive whilst others are just using it for their gain with nothing in return.

Maybe Im just getting an old pedantic git!

I agree with Quigs,

Also, how random is the random selection of winners?

I bid on 5 pieces, won 0 = 0%
Another member bid on 34 and won 28 = 82%+

Seems his random odds are a damn site better than mine ;)
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win

Check out www.Reefpark.net if you have a minute

Hmmm, I'll run some analysis on the data. There is some code in there to try and cover random not being as random as you might expect. Sorry you didn't get anything this time round.

I was sat at home watching while Joey was down there and I thought exactly the same thing, it seemed that a couple of people always won and they were still 'new members' but had been signed up for over a year!!
