Hi I'm new, I've been into marines for about 3 years but only as a spectator to hubby's tank really so it was all pleasure for me and no work lol. Got my hands salty recently with my own species tank, there's a clue to what I plan to keep in my username...a prize if anyone can tell me(it'll be a crap prize, but still a prize! lol)

Hi Binky, I was the same as you and had no interest in our first tank but to watch and enjoy. We have recently gone to a 6X2X2 and i get stuck right in.........i love it and sharing the hobby is so much better.
Now as far as Binky........... Rabbitfish?? Or clownfish??
Rachael.

No, not many ladies at all, its very refreshing to have some on board. This is one of those hobbies that seems rather male dominated. Its great to see the girls getting their hands wet rather than just admiring the view.

all you need to do now is plan your next holiday in Cornwall, just so you can pop into Jason's place and then we will know you are as mad as the rest of us. :rock3:

It does seem to be male dominated. Would LOVE to visit Jason's but it's just too far :rock3: I'm in Ayrshire

Lol He Googled that, my hubby is'nt that clever!
As for rabbits its a term for a jumping thing rabbits do when they are happy and playing and It was a pet rabbit in Harry Potter!

We have a nano maturing ready for some seahorses but there are'nt many around at the moment and the main tank seems to be swallowing my wages as fast as i earn them!

And on last thing..............its very refreshing to have another lady on the forum so i hope you will stay! :rock3:
