LPS and flow

LO
One of my LPS is getting pecked so I've put an up-turned guppy breeding bath over it to protect it. It's getting plenty of light and water is moving through it but I wouldn't call it a current. Will it need a real current or will this set-up help it recover?

i think you will find as soon as you remove the cover, even in a few weeks, the fish will start again. it may be a case of removing the fish or the coral

if an lps is damaged i would think flow might be important for recovery, although that is just a guess. see what the others say

Frogspawn
defo does not need a lot of flow.....if the part where the flesh joins the skeleton is still in tact and the mouth is still ok then it will prob pull through....just need to watch out for brown jelly type stuff appearing...this is not good.
But as ben stated it prob wont get left alone when the cover is removed. So as you say let it mend and move it on mate...should be fine to pull through.
Hope this helps
