cheers for the great comments peeps.
The sun came from yourselves Jas/linds and i feed it once a week mostly(target) some times twice if i can be bothered..lol
i love my sun and will defo be adding another at the other end of the tank after the addition af a big bright red lobo at some point soon.
It is doing great also feed the tank with gamma coral feed(the radio active orange coloured soup)..lol
but have started using cyclopse this last 2 weeks and liking the feeding response i am getting with it.

I do feed the tank heavily....prime reef flake every second night, a mix of frozen (brine with omega, mysis, prawn, mussle, red plankton and rotifers all about 10-15 cubes most feeds) every 2 days, small pellet food evry 4th day name escapes me.......constant supply of astirinia stars for the harlequin shrimps from my sump and other local s tanks...lol
Not much food goes to waste in my tank as the tangs make short work of any food that goes in there.

i have had them about 4-5 months now and they have been eating all the asterinias in my big tank i have been taking them from my cube of late and only just started to take from my sump. I have been getting some from local reefers to keep my sump stocks up. i have also been halfing and even quartering the larger ones as they will grow back into full stars.
I will do this for as long as i get away with it and then if need be will have to get a star and keep it in my cube and supplement. not a massive fan of doing this but to keep these stunner well fed i may have to.
Again thanks for the comments.
