Hi Guys

Been lurking in the wings for a few weeks since having the site reccomended by a couple of other members, so thought i'd introduce myself.

Names Steve which is pretty obvious from my user name and live in Wigan Gt Manchester.
Been keeping Marines for 3 years now after moving over from tropicals which I kept for better part of 25 years but decided to go for something a bit more challenging.

I have a 5x2x2 main tank with a 4ft sump running live rock filteration, a big Ratz skimmer, cheato and varios other algeas .Aquamedic 1000 Nitrate Reducer and Phospate reactor in the end compartment. Dosing with Kalk and Biodigest every 14 days.

Main tank has around 100kgs of live rock and has mainly SPS/LPS corals with the exception of my H.Magnifica nem which is around 18in across and hosted by 6 common clowns.

Fish livestock consists of

6 common clowns which spawn every 2 weeks or so
Pair of spawning Maroon Clowns
3 Construction Gobies of which 2 have paired up
Yellow Tang
Naso Tang
Yellow belly Regal Tang
Pink Tail Trigger
Midas Blenny
BiColor Blenny
Rosy Fairy Wrasse
Flame Angel
Coral Beauty Angel
Yellow Clown Goby
Green Coral Goby

My Marine claim to fame was having my tank featured in Marine World Magazine back in August 2008

About a year now mate
Stunning piece but i've had to move it several times as it's grown, stings everything around it

Not posted anything on here for a while so thought I'd do a quick update.
I swithed over to Zeo at the end of March this year. Dumped the PO4 and NO3 reactors and started on the blue bottles.
TBH not seen a major improvement in colours but had a rise in NO3 and PO4 which has caused some browning out of SPS and have a large colony suffering from STN due to running the Zeo REactor to fast but hopefully it will come round.

A couple of recent tank shots for all you pic addicts

Good update, the anemone looks happy and is that a pink-tail trigger I see dashing across the tank?
