Hi gang. Have just purchased 2 plating montipora's. A green one and a light green one with a purple edge. I was wondering how low down they could go in my tank. It is 24" deep, and I have twin 250 halides with 4 x 54w actinics lighting.

cheers
Brian

Cheers Tim. Now just got to make the room for them! They were one of those impulse buys, you know you don't have the room, but you still buy them anyway.

cheers

Hi Brian - just to second Tim, yes they can go anywhere low down in the tank and they should retain their colour. Just plan it carefully as they do cause alot of shading once they start to grow! HTH
