DIY foam rock

Hi guys, ive seen a few threads on another forum about diy foam rock and was wondering how good it would be, thinking of doing it for my nano.
Any help on how pourous it would be, and what type of foam to use.

I don't think it goes with urchins though

Da Nah! Yep Ive done it with successful results, although as Dave says, its not compatible with urchins as they strip the top layer off exposng the foam beneath which nothing seems to grow back over.

If you have a look at my tank thread you should be able to see the results on the background.
